GCOPP Egg Hunt

GCOPP EASTER EGG HUNT SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, APRIL 4

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—Families are invited to celebrate the spring season at the annual Gatlinburg Community Police Programs Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Mynatt Park on Airport Road. The free community event will take place rain or shine and is open to children ages 1 to 12.

Festivities will begin at 12:00 p.m., with the Easter Egg Hunt starting promptly at 1:00 p.m. Children will have the opportunity to search for colorful eggs filled with surprises, enjoy time with friends and family, and take part in a fun spring tradition.

Organizers say attendees should keep an eye out for a special guest appearance from the Easter Bunny, who is expected to stop by to greet children and pose for photos. Families are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets to collect eggs during the hunt.

The event is sponsored by Gatlinburg Community Police Programs, which works throughout the year to support community engagement and family-friendly activities in the city.

“This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate the Easter season,” Gatlinburg Police Chief Ronnie Barrett said. “We look forward to seeing children from across the community join us for an afternoon of fun.”

The Easter Egg Hunt is free and open to the public.
