Road Work

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—Stansell Electric will conduct work to replace traffic control boxes at several recently installed traffic signals throughout Gatlinburg beginning Monday, January 12. The work is scheduled to continue through Wednesday, January 14, weather permitting.

 

The project will take place at six intersections across the city and is expected to last approximately one hour at each location. The affected intersections include:

 

·      East Parkway and Glades Road

·      East Parkway and Ridge Road

·      East Parkway and Roaring Fork Road

·      River Road and Maples Lane

·      River Road and Ski Mountain Road

·      Parkway at Traffic Light No. 10

 

During work at each intersection, traffic signals will be temporarily out of operation. Officers from the Gatlinburg Police Department will be on-site directing traffic to ensure safety and minimize delays. Motorists are asked to use caution and remain mindful of the safety of officers directing traffic and crews performing work in the area.

 

Work will occur daily between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
