GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The City of Gatlinburg has announced its New Years Holiday observance schedule.
Gatlinburg City Hall and government offices, including the City’s Customer Service Center and the administrative offices of the Gatlinburg Police and Fire Departments, will be closed on Thursday, January 1. All offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, January 2.
The Gatlinburg Community Center will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31 and be closed on Thursday, January 1. The Community Center will reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday, January 2.
Residential and commercial trash collection services will occur as normal for the New Years holiday.
The Gatlinburg Golf Course will operate on a normal schedule and the Clubhouse will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31 and Thursday, January 1.
The Gatlinburg Trolley System will operate on an extended hours schedule on Wednesday, December 31. Trolley service begins at 10:30 a.m. on New Years Eve and will run for 90 minutes after the completion of the New Year’s Eve event in downtown Gatlinburg. Trolley service will resume a regular schedule on Thursday, January 1, with operating hours from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.
