Community Center Pool

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The City of Gatlinburg is pleased to announce that the Gatlinburg Community Center pool and locker rooms will reopen to the public on Thursday, May 15, at 3 p.m., following the completion of extensive renovations.

The project, which began in February, included a complete resurfacing of the pool, installation of an upgraded gutter system, and a newly resurfaced pool deck. In addition, both the men’s and women’s locker room showers received significant upgrades to modernize the facility and improve functionality and comfort.

“This project was an investment in the long-term quality and safety of the City’s recreational facilities,” said Recreation Director Laurence Evans. “The Recreation Department is excited to welcome the community back to a refreshed and improved aquatic environment that supports health, wellness, and recreation for all ages.”

The renovations are part of improvements to the Community Center, including the recently renovated Bowling Center and ongoing improvements with new equipment in the tone zone.

“These upgrades represent our commitment to providing top-tier recreational amenities for residents and visitors,” said Gatlinburg City Manager Greg Patterson.  “We look forward to seeing families, athletes, and community members once again enjoying the pool.”

The Community Center’s regular schedule and programming will resume as the facility reopens. Pool hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. — 7:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. from 5:30 p.m.
