The Communications Division is staffed with eight Dispatchers and one Chief Dispatcher. The Dispatchers also serve as Jailers.

The Dispatchers answer all of the calls to the Police Department, 911 transfers from the Sevier County Central Dispatch, and radio traffic for the Patrol and Investigations Division. The Communications Division staff is on duty every day of the year at the Police Department and provides assistance 24 hours a day.
