GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The Gatlinburg City Commission will meet on Tuesday, August 4 in a regularly scheduled meeting at 6 p.m. in electronic fashion.
The meeting will take place in accordance with Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Orders No. 16, No. 34 and No. 51, which addresses open meetings and allows flexibility for local governments to conduct essential business amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
City Commissioners will be participating in the meeting electronically via Zoom. Information for viewing the meeting will be posted on the Gatlinburg City Hall door, the City’s website at GatlinburgTN.gov and the City’s Facebook page. A recording of the meeting will also be posted on the City’s website within two business days.
An agenda for the meeting is available at GatlinburgTN.gov.
Public comments can be sent via email to email@example.com or placed in the drop box at City Hall by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4 and copies will be distributed to commissioners.
Meeting electronically and limiting public access to the meeting is necessary to protect the public health, safety and welfare in light of COVID-19. The City of Gatlinburg plans to return to in-person meetings as soon as possible.
