Gatlinburg announces Independence Day Holiday Observance Schedule

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The City of Gatlinburg has announced its observance schedule for the Independence Day Holiday.

Gatlinburg City Hall and government offices, including the administrative offices of the Gatlinburg Police and Fire Departments, will be closed on Monday, July 5. All offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6.

The Gatlinburg Community Center will be closed on Sunday July 4, but will be open on Monday, July 5 with regular hours from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. The Gatlinburg Golf Course will also be open on Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5.

Residential and commercial trash collection services will occur as normal for the Independence Day Holiday.

The Gatlinburg Trolley System will operate its Trolleys over the Independence Day weekend. Trolleys operate from 8:30 a.m. until midnight each day through the Summer. However, Trolleys will operate for two hours following the Fourth of July Parade, which steps off at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, July 4.
