GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The Gatlinburg Parks and Recreation Department is announcing that the Mills Park Disc Golf Course is being relocated this week.
The Disc Golf Course will be closed on Monday, June 21 as holes No. 1 and No. 2 are being relocated to allow for construction of the new Dog Park, slated to open in September 2021. The first two holes will be relocated during the day to their new location and the course’s first nine holes will be fully reopened on Tuesday, June 22. The start of the course is now at the flagpole at the Gatlinburg Community Center.
As part of this renovation, the course will be expanded to 18 holes. The full 18-hole course will be opened for public use, beginning the week of July 5.
