COVID-19 vaccine available in Gatlinburg on May 17


.—Individuals in Gatlinburg seeking to receive the COVID-19 vaccine will have an opportunity to do so on Monday, May 17.

A COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held on the campus of Rocky Top Sports World as part of a coordinated effort between the Sevier County Health Department and local government to give more opportunities for individuals to be vaccinated.

Appointments for the May 17 clinic are being taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Individuals can make appointments by visiting or by calling 865-774-3944. All individuals wishing to receive the vaccine must schedule their appointments in advance.

This clinic will only offer the Pfizer vaccine and all indiviudals receiving the vaccine must be at least 16 years of age.

The Sevier County Health Department continues to offer vaccines at its facility, located at 719 Middle Creek Road in Sevierville. More information is available at

Beginning on Monday, May 10, the Health Department will offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on a first-come, first-serve basis. Individuals will be able to receive the vaccine from 9 a.m. until noon on Mondays, 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
