Gatlinburg City Commission to meet electronically on December 15

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The Gatlinburg City Commission will meet on Tuesday, December 15 at 6 p.m. in an electronic fashion.

A City Commission Workshop Meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in an electronic fashion for the purpose of presenting the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the year ended June 30, 2020.

The meeting will take place in accordance with Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Orders No. 16, No. 34, No. 51, No. 60 and No. 65 which addresses open meetings and allows flexibility for local governments to conduct essential business amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

City Commissioners will be participating in the meeting electronically via Zoom.

Information for viewing the meeting live will be posted on the Gatlinburg City Hall door, the City’s website at and the City’s Facebook page. A recording of the meeting will also be posted on the City’s website the following day.

Public comments can be sent via email to or placed in the drop box at City Hall by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15. Copies of the public comments will be distributed to commissioners and read into the minutes during the meeting.

Meeting electronically and limiting public access to the meeting is necessary to protect the public health, safety and welfare in light of COVID-19.
