Gatlinburg installing waterline on Rattlesnake Hollow and Brownsridge Roads

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The City of Gatlinburg Utilities Department is currently installing a new waterline on Rattlesnake Hollow and Brownsridge Roads.

The construction to install the waterline, which will take four to six weeks to completion, is currently being performed on the upper section of Rattlesnake Hollow, near its intersection with Sherman Clabo Road.

The Utilities Department is currently conducting daytime closures of the road while installation work is being performed. The roadway is open for traffic at the end of each workday. Construction is being performed, weather permitting.

Daytime emergency traffic will be routed around the closure if the need arises. Currently, emergency traffic will be routed through Brownsridge Road as necessary.
