Tennessee 811 is the underground utility notification center for Tennessee.

Tennessee law requires anyone digging or excavating within the state to notify owners of underground public utilities at least three days prior to beginning the actual work. To find out where underground utility lines are buried, simply dial 811 before you dig and request that the underground facilities be market. Tennessee 811 accepts requests 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Just dial 811 anywhere in the State of Tennessee.
